What is Padel?
Padel, or Padel Tennis, is a southern outdoor trend sport played according to the rules of tennis but incorporating elements of squash. It is considered the fastest-growing sport in the world and is fun for young and old alike. More information can be found in the menu under the "What is Padel" tab.
How many players do you need for a Padel match?
Padel is traditionally played in doubles, so four players are generally required. However, it is also fun with just two players if enough partners cannot be found. Anyone looking for playing partners is welcome to join the Padel Tulln Players WhatsApp group — simply send an email to info@padeltulln.at with your phone number.
How do I book a Padel court?
The courts at Padel Tulln can be quickly and easily reserved and paid for online. You can access the booking system via the menu under "Court Booking", via the button at the bottom right of this page, or directly at: https://buchung.padeltulln.at/reservierung. Please note: the system requires 4 players to be specified when booking. It is possible to enter 3× "Guest player" if needed.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes, a reservation can also be cancelled via the booking page. Free cancellation is possible up to 6 hours before the scheduled booking time. The credit will then be returned to your account.
What happens to my booking in bad weather?
In general, Padel can be played in almost any weather. However, if conditions become too unpleasant, the reservation can be cancelled free of charge at short notice. To do so, please delete the reservation and add a note such as "Rain", "Snow", etc. We will then ensure that the amount paid is returned to your credit account. Alternatively, you can send an email to info@padeltulln.at.
How much does the court rental cost?
Renting a Padel court for one hour costs exactly €20.00 from opening until 4:00 PM. From 4:00 PM onwards, the court rental is €24.00 per hour. Since Padel is played in doubles, the court fee can be split between 4 players (i.e. €5.00 or €6.00 per person per hour).
Is floodlighting extra?
No, floodlighting — when required due to the time of day — is included in the court rental fee.
What do you need to play Padel?
To play Padel you need: ideally 4 players, a completed online court booking, a Padel racket per player (can be booked online together with the court), a few Padel balls (available for purchase on-site), as well as comfortable clothing and sports shoes (indoor tennis shoes or artificial grass shoes are ideal).
